Projected the demand of consumer goods in the world markets and its relationships with prices, GDP and population. Results: forecasted demand of consumer goods and its raw materials, defining the market-share of international leaders in energy and petrochemicals, guiding the strategic planning in the short and long terms, defining production scheduling, budgeting parameters and marketing planning.


Development of Business Analysis Tools and monthly evaluation of international competitiveness. These analyzes include technologies, macroeconomics, margin cash and full cost, market environment and prices, through dynamic reports that help decision-makers in key commercial, financial and planning issues. Results: an on-line system with cost projections and selling prices showing the monthly R.O.I. to the next 15 years to all chain crude-petrochemicals, giving to the companies an up to date picture of its benchmark.


Evaluated the world competitiveness in the petrochemical and oil industries based on renowned models developed by SRI International, ChemSystems, CMAI and Tecnon. Results: the application of these methodologies, either in sale contracts or researching new opportunities, helped commercial activities producing billions of dollars in revenues to companies like Braskem and Petrobras.    

   

Recommended US$ 1.8 billion in new investments to Braskem, the largest petrochemical company in Latin America. Results: feasibility studies with R.O.I. of up to 70%/y and margins ranging from US$100/ton to US$900/ton in 1.9 million tons/year of raw materials.         

 

Controlled commercial and economic variables and its impacts on prices; defined real costs, in contracts evaluation. Definition of production levels in the short and in the long-terms, including SWOT Analysis and budget inputs, maximizing operation results. Development of a forecasting system, daily updated with international market news, designed to monitor variables influencing prices and margins in energy, oil and its derivatives. Results: the evaluation of immediate impacts in the company results of scheduled and unscheduled shutdowns in world producers, as well as the effects of GDP, operating rates and new technologies.
